Over the Festive Season we close most of the the hotel's facilities and just offer "Room Only" for guests who are maybe visiting local relatives and need a room for the night and would like something better than a travel lodge. The price shown is for the room and it can accommodate a maximum of two people(apart from the family room)

The restaurant, room service, bar and lounge are closed during this period but we do give you a Complimentary Continental Breakfast Bag* delivered to your door each morning at 8.15am.

Reception will not be permanently staffed during the Christmas Period but we are contactable by telephone 24 hours a day. The hotel will be manned overnight.

Continental Breakfast Bags*

These are delivered to your room at 8.15am each morning. They contain yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, fresh milk, fruit juice and a pastry. There are tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms.

EATING OUT

There are many restaurants in Bradford on Avon and you can find them listed on www.bradfordonavon.co.uk. The Fat Fowl is generally considered the best in town and if you mention The Old Manor you will receive a 10% discount on your meal.

My ratings for this hotel

Our family live in Trowbridge & we wanted to spend Christmas with them, however we wanted our own space. We were looking for a Travelodge or similar and we came across this Hotel, we could not believe our luck. This Hotel is as good as ours in Cheltenham, we were looked after from the time we arrived to the time we left.

We stayed at this hotel over Christmas.

We were a little worried as to what we would get considering the price, No worries what so ever.

The Hotel was open on a room only basis with a Breakfast Bag included, just what we were looking for, this was much nicer than a Travelodge with all the added extras at no extra cost's.

When we arrived as per our instructions our room key was waiting for us, we had been upgraded free of charge, this was a nice surprise not to be expected especially for what we had paid. Warning signs every where due to the bad weather conditions, the car park was like an ice skating rink. we did not venture out that evening and we benefitted from our lovely room and had a pizza delivered.

The following morning our Breakfast Bag was delivered just after 8am, another nice surprise, Hot Toast brown & white, Yogurt, Branded jams & marmalade, orange juice, butter & even Kellogg's cereals along with fresh fruit & fresh milk.

After eating breakfast we made for an early start, there was a young man gritting the car park and helping guests de-ice cars, this was much appreciated as we forgot our de-icer.

We locked our selves out of our room several times, this was not a problem a call to the number we were provided with and we were quickly let in. (Sorry Again Women & Keys). Our room was serviced each day by a male housekeeper, we thought this very unusual especially in the UK, and he was English, our room was cleaned thoroughly each morning.(If you need a job let us know). The only thing that was a small let down was the TV, only 4 channels and the smallest TV you have seen. We were advised by the housekeeper that these were in the process of being changed over for large modern TV's.

We will definitely be returning to find out if they have been upgraded.

This Hotel & the service we received really made our Christmas.
