Our address is "Near Bradford on Avon"

To clarify, we are in fact, in the countryside between Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge. When the Manor was built it was in "Bradford Without" meaning outside the parish boundaries but still in Bradford on Avon. In about 1939, the town border was moved about 200 metres and Trowle was adopted by Trowbridge, the County Town which contains Bradford on Avon.
