Luxury Rooms
These are found in the separate building on the far side of the car park. We used to call them SUITES but as the intimate seating areas are in an alcove rather than a separate room we cannot call them suites. The view out the back of the rooms looks over Bradford on Avon town. At night the twinkling lights are very pretty. You can also watch the local wildlife in the field. There is a family of deer, foxes, pheasants and lots of rabbits. In the Spring the field is carpetted with buttercups. This is because we did Banger Racing and killed all the grass and the self seeded buttercups took over before the grass could re-establish itself.

The 4 Luxury Rooms were formerly the stables to the farm and were rebuilt about 20 years ago as they were about to collapse. Three of the rooms have large 6' wide Superking beds with amazing headboards crafted from the reclaimed staircase from King Oscar 11 of Norway and Sweden's house, Cragshead, down near Bournmouth. Why the King of Scandanavia was living in Bournemouth is anyone's guess. Maybe it's a bit warmer and they do have a good Volvo dealer there. Much of the original stone and old doors have been used along with some old beams which came from an old cotton warehouse near the Mississippi.
The fourth room is a twin room with 2x4' double beds. It is DISABLED FRIENDLY.It has low-down light switches and high-up powerpoints, grab handles in the bathroom and a seat in the shower. There is parking next to the room and a wheelchair has a flat route round to the restaurant. We do not have a Disabled Statement for the room but many have commented on how good the room is. In fact, it looks as good as all the other rooms. You would hardly notice the subtle alterations.
