Come and join the celebrations this New Years Eve and dance the night away with the new owners of the Old Manor who have laid on something a bit special to celebrate their very first New Years at The Old Manor
The Evening starts with a welcome drink and canapés in The Milking Parlour. Dinner is served on long banquet tables and takes the form of a hot and cold buffet cooked by head chef Mathew Briddon, if you are thinking village hall buffet then think again, this is going to be a little bit special…Matthew was cooking on Channel 4′s Sunday Brunch in September this year!
After dinner the two piece swing band will start up and its time to hit the dance floor.
Vocalist, Nick Langston will be performing classic jazz, swing and Latin tunes with one of the country’s top pianists Andy Christie. Together they are part of one of the UK’s top jazz and swing bands, The Hipcats, but on New Year’s Eve they have prepared a special selection of fabulous tunes from The Great American Songbook along with a few surprises.
Both Nick and Andy have performed at major jazz events and other festivals including Glastonbury. They are well-known for the cool and contemporary feel they give to classic tunes and have both released critically-acclaimed albums of their own material with Nick being an award-winning songwriter.
