I spent many years in the advertising business and many times I was involved in writing “mission statements” that were more “hopeful” rather than factual. This is not.

After spending 35 years staying in many appalling hotels I decided that maybe I could do better.

The Old Manor is my vision of what a small hotel should be. The decor and furniture have all been chosen by me and much of the antique furniture has been restored by me.

It is no “ordinary” hotel. There are still many bland hotels littering our country side alongside the Premier Inns and Travel Lodges.

I hope you like it. If you don’t I’m very sorry, but it wont be changed.”

The West country is a beautiful part of the UK but Wiltshire is one of our finest for business or relaxing alike. Trowbridge is the County town and the Cotswolds covers a lot of the north of the county. Bradford on Avon is seen because of its natural beauty as being the centre for tourism making a stay at the Old Manor hotel the best of both worlds.
