The original milking parlour has been rebuilt and used as the restaurant. At one end there is a large antique carved Ashlar fireplace which was excavated from the foundations during the restoration. It is furnished with antiques, pictures and Victorian plates. The French dining chairs were salvaged from an old restaurant that was closing and we rubbed them down stained and varnished them. They were then re-upholstered, they are a bit wobbly but thats part of the charm.
The food is simple rustic fare and the menu changes regularly to reflect the availability of local and seasonal produce. Vegetarians are welcomed. If you have any special dietary requests we will be pleased to try and accommodate them.
