The recently appointed Head Chef, Matthew Briddon, has put The Milking Parlour firmly on the culinary map.
Matthew comes with over 10 years’ experience in some of the top UK kitchens.
He training at River cottage and then honed his skills working as sous chef for the Michelin starred Heathcoat’s Restaurant. He was quickly promoted to Head chef where he ran the kitchen of this busy award winning restaurant.
“I am really excited to join the team at The Old Manor. I plan to use the hotels kitchen garden to grow and much as possible and we are planning to put free range chicken and rare breed pigs in the 2 acre paddock.
I am looking to offer what we are calling farmhouse dining, using local ingredients to showcase some old fashioned classics.”
