The nearest train station is Trowbridge and is a 15 min walk to the hotel. Bradford on Avon station is in the opposite direction and half a mile further away.

The bus stops very near the end of our drive and the 264 and 265 (click for time tables) will take you on a great scenic ride into Bradford on Avon and Bath in 45min. Make sure you get off at Trowle Common when returning from Bath

Bike and Boat Hire

One of the best ways to explore is by Bike – we have a very good foot path along the A363 outside the Hotel and from there it’s a mile to the canal and then a ride on the tow path would bring you to Bradford on Avon, Avon Cliff and then Bath itself.

Car
It always surprises us when guest travel to or from us by car without deviating off the Motorway. If you’re heading either to the north or the south then the Cotswolds or the New Forest are both a must.
